Getting into your headvoice Free Singing Tips

Like I said last time it is important to get into your head voice in order to sing high.
It is no use for me to explain it in writing. So I found a free video demostration on youtube on one the most used excersises.

It is a dumb excersise but highly effective. It is called lip rolls. It is a series of B in a row. What this excercise will do is cancell all the muscles in your throat that is not needed for singing. And it actually engages those muscles inside your voice box which you need for singing. It also helps you with your breathing. By this I mean you learn to control the amount of air you let out and you learn that you should never push the air out but we always allow the air to flow out.

Here is the video

Chest Voice and Head Voice Free Singing Tips

What is Chest Voice?

Easy chest voice is the voice we generaly speak in. Our vocal chords vibrate in its full lenght and we feel it resonate in our chest.

What is Head Voice?

Your vocal chords will zip up 2/3 of its length leaving only 1/3 vibrating. And you will feel it resonate in your head. Try a woooo in high a pitch.

It is very important to learn the transition from chest voice to head voice in order to sing high. There is no other way.

I will be giving some tips in future blogs on how to get through the transition from chest to head voice.

Be humble Free Singing Tips

As a singer you job is to connect with people not to make them worship you. I have seen some good singers but their attitude and arrogance overshadow their talent.

The fact of the matter is in life their will be always somebody better than you and me in something. You will become humble.

People want to know what you have to offer to them. It is not about you it is about them.

Last but not least be yourself don't try to be something your not that is the worst thing you can do because people will look right through you.

Take advantage of the internet Free Singing Tips

The internet has made this world very small. Did you know that you can attend vocal lesson at the comfort of your home. I did this last year.

Yes you can see the best vocal coaches in the world do their thing from your home. I live in Aruba and I got to watch and learn from Brett Manning and his associates. You can't imagine what I've learned this last year.

Normaly it would cost you a whole lot of money for vocal lessons from a profesional vocal coach. Now you can watch them give lesson for what I think is a small fee compared for what they charge for one session.

So my friend take this chance. It doesn't matter where you live you can achieve great results without ever attending a single vocal lesson. I did it if you don't believe me see my demo

I did this from Aruba. So take advantage of what the internet has to offer.

Improving your singing range Free singing tips

Is it possible to improve your singing range?

The answer is yes. I improved my singing range if you don't believe me check out my youtube demonstration.

How did this happen?

Well I discovered that breathing isn't the most important thing in singing. I discovered that there are different vocal chord coordinations. Breathing won't help you discover them.

I also discovered that my adams apple was in my way. When I tried to sing in my low ranges it would go down killing the note. And when I tried to sing high it would go up making it uneasy singing high notes. I learned how to control it.

So everybody can improve their vocal range. It is a question of learning how your vocal chords work.
